The Otter’s Playhouse

A new 4 story house close to the banks of the Russian River with concrete piers reminiscent of a mini-skyscraper. The house takes it’s name from the otter’s that like to play along the banks of the river. Our goal for the design was to capture that playfulness on the exterior.

General Specifications:

  • New 1840 square foot Residence with concrete piers.

  • Concrete, Steel, and Wood frame construction with fiber-cement exterior cladding.

  • Retention of existing fairy ring of redwood trees

  • Monte Rio, CA.

  • Completed 2023
