Part of being an excellent architect is achieving balance between the inherent limitations of building code requirements and the artistic vision and creative spirit.  Since 1989, Ken has also been developing his artwork and art career and has developed an international fan base from San Francisco and Seattle to Miami, NYC, Europe and even Japan.

He has shown his work in the deYoung Museum at the deYoung Open 2023, the Crocker Art Museum in Sacramento, CA. at the Crocker-Kingsley 74th Exhibition in 2005, the Sonoma Valley Museum of Art in Sonoma, CA. at the Biennial 2007 Exhibition as well as the Sausalito Art Festival.

Ken has also had a variety of articles written about his work in the North Bay Bohemian, Art Opportunities Monthly and Make Magazine and has won several awards including Best of Show and Merit awards from the Sebastopol Center for the Arts and the Petaluma Arts Center.

He has also exhibited his work in New York at ArtexpoNY in 2015 and been included in Studio Visit Magazine - 2nd edition
